Nice fishing kit for the price

After years of using repurposed household tools in my tackle box it's nice to have some that were designed and built for fishing. The three tools--pliers, scissors and lip gripper--are solidly made but it's the pliers that standout. They are lightweight aluminum but feel really well built with strong spring, perfectly aligned teeth (see video) and a built-in line cutter. Some reviewers have mentioned using the lanyard with the pliers but I prefer the holster, which has a velcro strap to keep the pliers from falling out. It would be nice if the pliers folded to save space but that's a minor issue. The scissors work well (much better than the nail clippers I've been using) and the lanyard keeps them close. I've never had a lip gripper before but I imagine it will come in handy, if I catch a fish. Overall, this five-piece kit is a great value for under $20.

Handy Fishing Tool Set

I received the Go Pal Fishing Tool Set through the Amazon Vine program. This ended up being a really handy little set to throw into our fishing gear. Everything feels lightweight but still sturdy enough to actually use out on the water.The pliers worked well for removing hooks and cutting line, and I liked that they came with a lanyard so they are easier to keep track of while fishing. The grips feel comfortable in your hand and the tools were easy to use even with wet hands. My husband already tossed these into the boat setup and has been using them regularly.The included accessories make this feel like a pretty complete starter kit and I think it would also make a nice gift for someone who fishes often. Overall I think this is a solid value for the price.

Love the pliers and lip gripper

Sonfar this kit looks nice. The pliers are my favorite part, and the main reason I got this. I like thay itnhas a slinky lanyard for the pliers as well as a sheath (although inexpect to use the lanyard more than the sheath). The scissors look decent, and I'll use themnwhen tying hooks, but they arent the main reason, they seem like an afterthought kind of a thing. The lip gripper will be nice and helpful when grabbing fish, and trying to get the hook out

Great fishing tool set

Quality of the tools is very durable.Have had this for about a month and no issues with these tools.Worth investing in for your gear. I will most likely purchase a second set to leave on the boat so I don't have to transfer gear depending on how I'm fishing.
