My wife is rehabbing a partially torn meniscus and needed pads to use on a cave exploration we did recently. She said these were amazing and experienced no pain as she crawled through caves. I've long worn the military knee pads over my BDU pants however, they always slipped down. Having both knees replaced i needed protection working outside. So I tried these. These work great! Thick padding and they don't slip down! The only thing to be aware of. Because of the ample padding the pants worn over them must be baggy. That is the only draw back. I highly recommend these padded sleeve.
